gr8 People, Inc. seeks a highly motivated Support Developer to join our growing team who is passionate about delivering a quality product to our customers. This new position has been created following a sustained period of growth and will be responsible for working with the internal business teams to support and maintain the gr8 People Talent Platform by identifying and resolving system issues. Based at our corporate office in Newtown, PA, the role of the Support Developer includes:

  • Primary responsibility to work with our customer service team and address issues and help with diagnosing/resolving technical problems
  • Work with customer service team to help troubleshoot production issues
  • Work very closely with configuration team and helps troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Provide education and guidance on configuring to prevent problems before they occur
  • Applies technical expertise to quickly resolve both simple and complex problems
  • Monitor exception and performance logs, diagnose and resolve issues found in the logs
  • Partner with QA in prioritizing and addressing the defects in a timely manner
  • Document issues, steps to reproduce and its resolution in our issue management solution
  • Consistently look out for areas of improvement in all areas of software product development and processes

Qualifications:

Job Requirements 

  • 2+ years of experience with programming in web technologies in one or more of the following: ColdFusion, Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS etc.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required
  • Must be a self starter and must be able to prioritize and manage the issues
  • Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting and diagnosing technical problems
  • Must be customer-oriented and provide exceptional customer service
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
  • Must be proficient is SQL; able to identify bottlenecks in queries & ability to optimize the queries
