External Description:

Are you a skilled DevOps Engineer with a passion for AWS? We're looking for a talented individual to join our dynamic team and bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring seamless deployment, monitoring, and scaling of our applications. In this role, you'll play a critical part in optimizing our infrastructure and driving automation.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure AWS infrastructure
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible 
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines 
• Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes 
• Monitor system performance and reliability using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other monitoring solutions
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance application deployment processes and ensure best practices in security and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, implementing preventative measures
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and DevOps

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role with extensive AWS experience
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, etc.)
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with CI/CD tools 
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments
• Automation experience using both Terraform and Ansible
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications: 

• AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices
